jjs 64 Report post Posted August 3, 2008 (edited) Weren't these wheels fitted as standard on these? (the NZ spec 540i SE) Edited August 3, 2008 by Crockett
BreakMyWindow 1874 Report post Posted August 3, 2008 Weren't these wheels fitted as standard on these? (the NZ spec 540i SE) Yeah they were, theres a few 535 and 540's about with the style 5's. These are only the 17' models, The 18's look alot better on such a big car but are from what i was told, they are more prone to warping.

Apex 693 Report post Posted August 4, 2008 That looks sh*t hot mate, nice stance, wheels and colour. Would look cool with a German plate and a Snitttzzzzer (s) front and M boot lip, you could get it matched when you paint your boot.

Have considered the Shnitzel front lip but much like a schnitzel it well get beaten as the front bumper is already quite low. Thinking about an m5 front bumper

Thinking about an m5 front bumper But then you would have to update the rest of the car to match, IMO the wheels wouldn’t suite the facelift M look. My E39 was the same height as yours and I didn’t scrape the lip to bad, it actually sits bugger all lower, it’s more a cover extension than anything.
