Gave her a spot in the shop today for the work to begin.Specs are : `92 NZ manual 318i. This sounds like a fantastic project Ray, I wonder if they will allow you to do a small amount of stiffening to compensate for the touring slightly flexi body. Also as said being allowed to shave some weight would be good. Will look awesome anyway. Im happy to help with a few bits of race apparel if needed. No to the stiffening, apart from the cage, which does a pretty good job anyway. As far as the weight goes, remove as much as possible without cutting anything.
