Grant 4 Report post Posted August 29, 2004 Hi All Andy, Gus, Dave and I took part in the Jaguar, BMW and Lotus Drivers day today. It was good fun, got to some driver training exercises, then lots donning the helmet and lapping of Pukekohe Park Raceway. Here are some photos of cars etc. 1: Mark's E36 M3 Evo (was a passenger in this for a few laps, it is fast).

Guest Andrew Report post Posted August 29, 2004 Yeah there was a lime green e30 there - Was an awesome day - by the end of it I was lapping pretty quick - amazed that I was keeping up with KiwiAlpina's B10 - We were even in a straight line and I was a tad quicker in the corner. Its a nice feeling going 200 kph and being passed by a Noble hah. The lotus' elise were quite funny.. you'd pass them in the straights... then they'd pwnage you in the corners. Another lesson learnt was don't drive behind big shitty Jags - they spew out oil and cover your car in crap. Was no brake fade even after 6 - 7 laps of puke going hard out - but the brake fluid has boiled on mine cause the pedal is so squishy now. Awesome day.
