Guest Simon* Report post Posted October 30, 2008 yeah i know but Welly is a bit far... That's pretty lame. If you know what an E30 318is is all about you'll know how rare they are and a good one would be worth the trip

Mark 178 Report post Posted October 30, 2008 yeah i know but Welly is a bit far... There's only 25 in the country (prob less than that actually) chances are you'll have to travel to get one!!
3 SERIES 93 Report post Posted October 30, 2008 ha ha, goodluck waiting for one to come up in your area! As Simon said, If you know what an E30 318is is all about you'll know how rare they are and a good one would be worth the trip
Cale 36 Report post Posted October 30, 2008 Yeah, you may have to make the trip, or you may be waiting a while for a minta! Bonus is you get a road trip to get to know the car, couldn't think of anything better.
hbmonkeyman 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2008 If you don't mind me asking. Why the E30 318is specifically?
3 SERIES 93 Report post Posted October 30, 2008 Maybe because the only thing better is a 325 manual! And how many of those are around? They're extreamly fuel efficient, there are only about 20 of them in NZ and they have a 4 cylinder dohc engine that has more boogie than a 316, 318 and a 320. What else could you ask for

What do you reckon... would a 318is be more economical that a 316i m40b16?

Apex 693 Report post Posted October 30, 2008 Just type any BMW/VW/AUDI model in on trade me search and a silver one will come up, some champion self lover has entered lots of fabulous key words.. as if someone will type in M3 and think na, I might just go with this 318is instead… Or hey I might look up Passat but see an old BMW coupe and think wow that’s a great alternative.
