JiB 2 Report post Posted January 7, 2010 Someone bought my volks for a silly amount of money, and I'm not gonna have time to drive my car any more. So I bought it an impractical present. Genuine 4 stud SSR Professor SP1 3 piece rims. 17x9 rear, 17x8 front. Will get more pics when I get round to putting the rest of my Tech1 kit on. JiB 2 Report post Posted January 9, 2010 Cheers guys. Have minor rubbing issues to deal with because I didn't want little sidewalls or stretch (215/45R17 fronts, 225/45R17 rear). Anyone have a guard roller they wanna lend me for some beers/payment/mtechII wing?

pureboiracer 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2010 just use a baseball bat and a towel, just be patient, that should do it.
JiB 2 Report post Posted January 9, 2010 just use a baseball bat and a towel, just be patient, that should do it. Hard plastic tubing and a heat gun works better. But I want my guards equal on both sides (and I've never used/would like to try a proper guard roller before) which is why I asked.
DRTDVL 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2010 if you manage to get your hands on one i wouldn't mind seeing if it would work on the 205... they have a screwy front arch so i'm not sure if it would work or not.

JiB 2 Report post Posted January 25, 2010 Just home from the workshop..thought I'd take a pic of new 15x7's 'cos I'm not used to sleeping this early...not convinced by weksos offset, but should handle better with a smaller kpi trail.

JiB 2 Report post Posted January 26, 2010 Lol, found some more wheels - 16x7.5 RS copies (the less time I get to drive it, the more I whore wheels apparently). These will probably be for sale soon though.

JiB 2 Report post Posted February 4, 2010 This is what I work on when I can't sleep (happens often). I want to move all driver controls 300mm backward so the E30 is less sh*t. Beginnings of new pedal box (design bits borrowed from 2009 F:SAE car) Shifter and seat mounts to come. Also, because the E30 has well, no underbody aero: Beginnings of new adjustable undertray - Would also like to cut all evidence of sunroof away and replace with 1mm composite sheet plexi'd in place.
