Gus 5 Report post Posted February 15, 2009 well, my weekend has been interesting! i started off looking at this for 800 quid however, I saw it, it was a bit rusty (which is normal for here) had a really bad steering wobble, and major problems with the internal electrics (someone had cut out the alarm) I would have loved to take it on as a project but Just don't have the time to work on it, or the space. That was saturday, I was sleeping it over on saturday night and stumbled across this: 650 quid, 325i manual touring, it's not immaculate, rusty in a couple of places but generally very tidy and drives really well. 150k miles also! (the 325i Sport had 240k miles) as a bonus, it has an LSD, which I didn't know about, score! now to get rid of the 318iS touring. just a note to anyone, anyone who argues that the M42 is better than an M20 2.5 - you are wrong. A manual 325 touring with LSD and leather for 650 quid which is less than it would cost for me to put four tyres on the 740. Ive just noticed....has it got angel eyes too ? Gus 5 Report post Posted February 15, 2009 yes, doug....i love the beige!!! it's a little scary - drives really nicely, a perfect, practical car for Pam and I it does have angel eyes - a little chavvy, but as the guy who sold them pointed out, cheaper than a knackered seat of 2nd hand smileys, and brand new
Guest Simon* Report post Posted February 15, 2009 You know you're becoming a local Angus when everything's chavvy

Cale 36 Report post Posted February 16, 2009 Front & rear washers The rear washer reserve is at the very back left compartment in my car. Might be different? Or if this touring had headlight washers?

SIR E30 68 Report post Posted February 16, 2009 Front & rear washers Like Cale said, the rear window washer bottle is in the rear of the car.. It has two in the front for the front window and the headlight washers. BTW Gus, NICE! you cant go wrong with a 325i Touring. Wish mine had an lsd though! jealous
Gus 5 Report post Posted February 16, 2009 Do you need a wagon for child seats? ouch. i hope not.... yeah the washers are for the headlight washers which are missing..im sure ill get over it. im actually really digging the blue. i never have before! can't wait to drive it this weekend - so much smoother than the iS on the motorway doing 90mph. this country has it's benefits
