You'll need a flywheel as well... about $4000 all up or go UUC clutch and flywheel kit from the USA

http://www.uucmotorwerks.com/

give me your chassis # and I'll price up OEM for you

Do you always have to replace the flywheel? Just curious, not worried (PO changed the clutch on my car, and in any case I'd leap at the chance of changing the flywheel coz the dual mass one is a heavy POS).

Hey Glenn. Just interested, if you need to replace the clutch do you always need to replace the flywheel?

It needs to be checked, tollerances are minimal, every dual mass we have checked has been knackered. If you take short cuts, you will have problems.... clutch judder. Do it right with new OEM parts or go UUC alloy flywheel & their OEM matched clutch kit.. About $1800 landed in NZ... owner would need to purchase this himself . I'm not going to give a consumers guarantee on it. We have fitted two with pleasing results on a 323 & 328

At $2k for a flywheel I think I'd rather have a naked virgin (girl, for the avoidance of doubt) carve me one I think.

use a e30 m20 320i flywheel with a uprated clutch they are light enough. got one in my e36 325i , works fine , didn't fancy using the dual mass unit.
