Gus 5 Report post Posted March 23, 2009 I'm selling this properly now - previous FS threads are here: http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....;hl=318is+turbo http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....;hl=318is+turbo http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....;hl=318is+turbo a few updates: Rebuilt Clutch pack LSD instead of the quaife it has a turbo cam, I'm not sure of specs It's in great condition, I think it's around 167k or so I'm not going to be back in NZ for some time, and don't really want the car sitting around. $10k email me for more details if you need them. It's a drive away reliable 180 rwkw so saves spending $$$ to get a great e30 - this car has cost at least triple my asking price to build
CamB 48 Report post Posted March 23, 2009 I'd give anything short of my first child for this. Unfortunately, said first child is due shortly, and my wife says I can't buy it. Dammit.

Gus 5 Report post Posted March 25, 2009 would it make a reliable daily? yep. not the best for cold starts due to the motec, but she's perfectly reliable. i used it every day when I was in NZ, it's actually pretty economical compared to a 325i
Mike 1 Report post Posted March 26, 2009 yep. not the best for cold starts due to the motec, but she's perfectly reliable. i used it every day when I was in NZ, it's actually pretty economical compared to a 325i mine was still pretty good on gas too if I behaved
mops 4 Report post Posted March 26, 2009 i'm sure cold starts are tunable.... 10k is a great price for that car. it probably cost that much to build mine (not counting the car to start with). and believe me that power is making that little e30 move
Gus 5 Report post Posted March 26, 2009 yeah - it's cheap. I may just keep it if I can't sell it for what I want

GLIDN 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2009 does this car, now have black basket weaves or BBS wheels on? Or are they the same silver as to when Andrew owned it?
Gus 5 Report post Posted April 20, 2009 bump for the record, if no-one buys this off me for a reasonable price, it's getting bastardized into some sort of race car when I'm back in NZ. Pay slightly more than a standard 318iS and gain an extra 180hp. Do the maths. Just saying this for future record when people ask "Why cut up a perfectly nice standard-ish E30?" Maybe I'm being unreasonable with price - if people believe that, talk money with me
