CamB 48 Report post Posted March 30, 2009 It won't be so low with slightly larger wheels on it. Must be an almighty pain in the arse to get in and out of driveways and over judderbars, but I often wonder the same thing about Ferraris and Lambos. bmw_guy 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2009 far its super low , looks sweet on standards

Must be an almighty pain in the arse to get in and out of driveways and over judderbars, but I often wonder the same thing about Ferraris and Lambos. to be honest its not to bad over bumps! i went over a couple at ardmore today but wasnt too bad though i did manage to rip the inside plastic cover thing of my guard while driving home from work today, gave me a huge fright thought i had broken my bumper or something because it sounded like something was scrapping , i pulled over and my guard cover was all stuck between the guard the the wheel...so heres me in my skirt and high heels next to the main road jacking the car up then trying to pull the guard plastic off LOL its fine now the plastics been taken of though...no noises at all now! but needs bigger wheels! and it wont look as "dodgey" even though it does have springs
bmw_guy 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2009 Haha it almost looks dodgy in the way that it kind of looks like you cant afford rims so therefore neither lowering the ride so you just cut the springs? haha, needs rims, but i think it still looks very very cool

Must be an almighty pain in the arse to get in and out of driveways and over judderbars, but I often wonder the same thing about Ferraris and Lambos. Most supercars have the ability to raise the front for that exact reason. Mines not half as low as livi's and I scrape in every downtown carpark, the bumps along high street and most judder bars even on the mad gangsta angle. Scrape plates ftw
*Glenn* 855 Report post Posted March 30, 2009 Personally, I would have gotten the wheels first and then lowered it to suit the wheels.... just MHO

bravo 35 Report post Posted March 30, 2009 I disagree. Low on stock wheels looks semi-ok. High on big rims = super gay. What sort of rims are you looking at getting?
byza213 1 Report post Posted March 30, 2009 even when i had my e34 was on 19s ended up less then 100mm off the ground 6 months later (thats on compressed ) not worth it really.. i agree with glenn
Livi 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2009 I am looking at 19's for it ...Truxtons to be excact I found the lowering springs on trademe , cheap so i was an impulse buyer and got them...then i couldnt wait to put them in LOL but once mags are on it wont look so "gangster" LOL i hope but i didnt think it looked to bad the way it was except the whole bottoming out thing! bring on the new shoes for it though!
