SIR E30 68 Report post Posted April 2, 2009 I had a visit the other day from a good mate of mine.. His name is Brook. He came in search of help for his sick E30. The springs werent captive, solution: Put some spring pads in. The brake pad warning light was showing, solution: Dont fix the problem by taking the bulb out, fix it by fiddling with the wire until the light went out. The headlights were black, solution: Take girlfriends stockings off the headlights. The bumper wasnt sitting properly, solution: Take it off and put it back on its rails properly. The drivers window wouldnt work, solution: bash the drivers door with fist until it worked. Front tyre has bubble, solution: Send Brook to firestone. (see attached photo) This post just goes to show that a little help from your mates can see you through sorting out niggly problems with your car, dont dodgy things up just because you dont know what to do. Ask for help. Its ok! Cheers for coming round brook, your always good for a laugh and keep me and matt busy with working on E30s when we run out of stuff to do on our own ones!
