Abby 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2004 Well, I've gone out and got a 1990 E30 318i. Pretty good condition but we are doing alot of work on it this weekend...and at some point also going to do a manual swap. (in the next month I hope) But got a pretty good deal and it'll be fun to work on...so here is some pics for ya'll. Could do with a good clean and polish, but that'll all be done this weekend. So thats it for now

gmccormack 0 Report post Posted November 20, 2004 haha tim we half way through....just need a torx socket to get the gearbox off then just need to start bolting stuff back together..any ideas on where to get one? Bad news Gus you will need 3 different size Torx sockets. There are two different sizes holding the gearbox to the block and another size for the starter.PS. I still have the gear stick boot and radiator shroud at my place.
