Nobimmer 694 Report post Posted July 2, 2009 Anywhere from $500-$1200 and DIY. Would wanna swap some of the consumables while it's out too. Ask Mike, he will probably have something.
APT 195 Report post Posted July 2, 2009 Depends if you can do it yourself or pay someone to do it.. For the kit itself is about 600 - 1000, someone on heres selling one for $500, then you have to add labour up on top of that. i got my whole conversion done by synthe (323e30) for $1100 all up incl. labour give him a PM and see how you go

tibbs.james 1 Report post Posted July 8, 2009 $700 is about the most you would want to pay for a complete kit. need to factor in most kits go for around $500-$600 and after that you should use a new clutch kit and have the master & slave cylinders rebuilt or replaced. Most kits don't seem to include the gear lever surround or a gear knob If all the parts were provided i would thing its a good 4-5 hours work for somebody. apply standard rates of $70 per hour and that's about what the labor is worth.
