bmw_guy 0 Report post Posted July 9, 2009 Hey guys, Chromes more or less sold if i want them to be, guy wants to buy them next week. Will sell them to him if i can get these ones. What do ya reckon? im confused. They look better than the chrome ill give it that. But does it suit the car? AzonicNick 0 Report post Posted July 9, 2009 Not what I'd go for personaly but they do suit the colour scheme of your car. I'd go for some 16s, rock some cheap standard wheels untill something comes up that you really like.
*Glenn* 854 Report post Posted July 9, 2009 Yes... I think they suit the car
e30plz 1 Report post Posted July 9, 2009 I'd go for some 16s, rock some cheap standard wheels untill something comes up that you really like.+116s are the best. Not really a fan of the black with chrome lip.
bravo 35 Report post Posted July 9, 2009 At that price buy a set of Johnnos Borbets!
hybrid 1043 Report post Posted July 9, 2009 What are you trying to achieve with your wheel purchase ? Are you after the more clean look (mono block look)or the more dished look ? Do you want mesh ? or spokes ... 5 spoke (no offence to anyone) tend to not suit BMWs as much as a mesh design however .. something like a mono block 6 spoke can look the bees. http://www.comp.co.uk/wheels/wheels.asp?range=MO6_0006 See here for limmets car in white

Guest Simon* Report post Posted July 9, 2009 My opinion only but I am already sick of black rims on white cars Like Bravo said, why not hook up a set of Borbet's? I think in reality too weaves, be they RS's or baskets look better on E30's than most 'spokey' rims
bmw_guy 0 Report post Posted July 9, 2009 Thanks for your opinion Simon, Not really a fan of the borbets. I think the BBS's look really tidy but in would most likely not suit the rest of my car?
AzonicNick 0 Report post Posted July 9, 2009 Mesh 16s with black inners and polished lips maybe?
_BRS_ 209 Report post Posted July 9, 2009 (edited) At that price i wouldn't get them, id go for the borbets, but itl be hard to twist your arm. White with black is old now, yes i still rock mine but if i had to choose i would get something diffferent now. Could always get the borbets painted black. If you are confused, maybe its not ment to be, get someting you like not what others say. Yeah... my 2c E: Sp Edited July 9, 2009 by _BRS_

Nobimmer 694 Report post Posted July 10, 2009 Buy Antony's or Borbets. They will both grow on you and will be way sweeter than them "dished" wheels.
