CDA Intake system

Recommended Posts

Picked this carbon intake system up from Woolf mufflers last week at a special price of $250+ gst

He was retailing them at $1000.

Also got a Remus fitted as well :)

I love this recession!

He had a few on the shelf.

I ran the Aluminium Tubing down and into the brake duct all easy enough.

Sounds so tough now.

Is it the tube routing issue that stop you from using the factory air-duct? (bottom right on your first pix)

That is the cooling for the alternator. Unless your talking about something else?

Sweet, that is a top notch price, I have the imitation Simota version on my car and it was about the same price.

Top quality parts you have fitted there!

Was going to say the same thing. Might go and have a look at them.

But be careful with it down there. Doesn't take bugger all water to hydraulic the motor. Happend to a mate of mines MR2 driving on the motorway in Heavy rain. Sucked up a puddle.

I wouldn't risk it with such a nice E36 ha.

Thanks! Risk = Reward.

I might look at doing something as a safeguard in the near future.

You would have to drive into a f**king lake to get enough water up that pipe!! I wouldn’t wary about that at all.

I have mine feeding behind the headlight onto the factory inlet.
