crazyarab 6 Report post Posted August 5, 2009 (edited) Needs clears, tints and a drop.. All in the pipeline How much did the Remus set you back?? PS: Damn Nice TechII!! $650 It's the full cat back exhaust though so it's a fairly big chunk of metal! You'd be better to keep an eye on trademe for a leather M-Tech II for a couple of hundred and have it re upholstered in Alcantara (same as the Sport Evos had) It's a bummer as I just sold my M-Tech II for someting better I reckon, will post pics soon. Yeh, seems to be fairly rare.. All I could find was this but it's for an E36.. I assume there is no way to mod it to fit an E30? On the steering wheel note, I saw a mint E30 in the states with an E46 Msport steering wheel on it... how do they do that!? crazyarab 6 Report post Posted August 6, 2009 (edited) Quick question re steering wheel. Can someone confirm that an M-Tech 2 steering wheel off an E34 / E32 fits an E30? A quick google search seems to indicate that this is the case. Edit: Hmm, did a quick photoshop and I am thinking Tech-I looks pretty sick with suede too I am almost leaning towards the Tech-I Edited August 6, 2009 by crazyarab

Jaydubs 0 Report post Posted August 7, 2009 Wow. that thing is gorgeous well done. Where did you get the Remus?
martyyn 2 Report post Posted August 7, 2009 I have always been under the impression that an e34/e32 tech II wheel DOES NOT fit on e30. They have a different 'depth' to them apparently. The best way to check what fits what is to use the 'Application Search' on realoem. You can then see that an passenger airbag sensor from an e36 318Ti also fits an e38 740i
crazyarab 6 Report post Posted August 7, 2009 (edited) Where would you get that suede tech1 from? At a VERY VERY good auto trimmer Speaking of which, I seem to have found one! Wow. that thing is gorgeous well done. Where did you get the Remus? Well it's still a photoshop at this stage but hopefully be a reality soon ! Got the Remus off a guy up north (saw it on trademe). Hi-Tek 3 Report post Posted August 7, 2009 Tech 1 is rubbish bro, I've got one on my car whilst my AC Schnitzer wheel is being re trimmed in alcantara. When you put a Tech 1 and Tech 2 beside each other, you'll know which one to choose.

crazyarab 6 Report post Posted August 15, 2009 (edited) Where did u get the suade knob from ? and how much ? Used the original one, stripped off the leather and handed it to a very good auto trimmer Handbrake + gear knob cost me $120. Considering the M3 Evo alternative would have cost well over $400+ I am pretty chuffed ! Edited August 15, 2009 by crazyarab
