CRZARB ///M325I M-Tech II

Recommended Posts

Id be very surprised if those caps fitted the 17' reps fellas, they are for the genuine 16's. From what I remember of the reps they dont have the inner lip that the lock fits around and so these wont fit.

BEAUTIFUL Atta! Do want a Tech II M325i so bad.

I would be very very surprised if the genuine alpine centre caps fit the rep's.

Very very nice car.

I've never gotten along well with Alpina rims tho.

Meh, it's an E30

Not bad Atta. The wheels are ..... spokey ;)

In all seriousness though, looks good. Don't get rid of the weaves just yet though

Where do people get the idea that I would ever consider selling the original Motorsport parts... that is re-sale suicide! Plus I need them on the track and days I want a bit of a blat :D

Bit of a difference from the M3 though ay

Yeh, this is more fun to drive lol

It's like a go cart, you really have a connection with the road driving an E30. Just so much more "raw" than the E36 which is a more balanced, comfortable ride. When I first gave it stick, I was actually pleasantly surprised with the power, feels so much quicker than I expected.

I will certainly miss smoking high end Japanese turbos and keeping up with the big guns around Ruapuna though :(

Bet you are rapt with that purchase, fantastic looking car! MTech 2 is a stunner, 20yrs old & still shows up other cars.

Some people reckon 16" Alpina's look better on the E30, look around & judge for yourself?

The only thing i would do is fit a MTech2 steering wheel in either leather/suede with Tri-colour stiching & matching gear knob.(again must have Tri-colour stitching) Gear selection cap on knob top would have again Tri-colour emblem but not the centre M...just my opinion, which doesn't mean much on this forum.....

Yeh, Josh was telling me about this suede steering wheel... I want one so bad after seeing it! Any idea if someone stocks them in NZ?

Hell, I am still struggling to source a gear knob lol!

Nothing, i'm just not completely confident on my ability to fit it.

Also a little short on cash.

Alot lol ($475USD), but I am actually seriously considering it

Pretty soon I am going to be as broke as an alcoholic uni student.

You'd be better to keep an eye on trademe for a leather M-Tech II for a couple of hundred and have it re upholstered in Alcantara (same as the Sport Evos had)

It's a bummer as I just sold my M-Tech II for someting better I reckon, will post pics soon.
