bellicose 9 Report post Posted August 9, 2009 Nice car, nice color, not so nice wheels but the manual makes up for it. Priced right too. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=235191876
BM WORLD 1283 Report post Posted August 9, 2009 thats way over priced . it sold for about $3K a year ago (in standard trim) , you think for the asking price he could replace that stuffed seat , or fit leather to it . and maybe upgrade it to a M52B28 and convert it to RHD. Guest Simon* Report post Posted August 9, 2009 Saw this too Not to my taste but hey. Sure it's priced right John? You can buy an E34 M5 in NZ for that money.
Jamez 2147483647 Report post Posted August 9, 2009 there is a black 540i touring up the road from me and it looks way more staunch than this, I reckon the blue kinda ruins the look something different i guess

323e30 0 Report post Posted August 9, 2009 def over priced.. Color makes it look a little bit like a toy. Left hand drive and manual is a nice bonus though.

bravo 35 Report post Posted August 9, 2009 Theres a similar 525i touring in kerikeri. I quite like e34 tourings as station wagons go.
BM WORLD 1283 Report post Posted August 10, 2009 most tourings sell for around $3k to $5k depending on conidtion etc ,. why is LHD cool in NZ , would just make it even more useless to pass cars if it had a enough grunt to.
Guest Ari Gold Report post Posted August 10, 2009 Perfect for an M5 3.8 Estate reshell - it's already LHD and registered.

BM WORLD 1283 Report post Posted August 18, 2009 (edited) are they permanent 4wd?yes . something like 60/40 torque split , with basis to the rear.great if you live in snowy areas or always getting stuck in a paddock when feeding cows from the back of the tailgate , but other wise a bit of a waste. extra weight , use more gas , and lots a bespoke parts only for 4wd e34 . they have a steering rack , lower arms like a e36 etc . front diff bolts to the side of the sump and the right axle goes through it. special wheel offset , etc etc. different front struts towers etc http://bmwfans.info/parts/catalog/E34/Tour...wse/front_axle/ Edited August 18, 2009 by Brent HARTGE535i
