martyyn 2 Report post Posted August 26, 2009 (edited) Good god thats cheap, but whats with the Hartge Perfomance Kit, that he then wont talk about ? I dont see any M5 kit on it either...perhaps the 17 unanswered questions are pointing out a couple of the errors. hybrid 1043 Report post Posted August 26, 2009 I find it very strange people are willing to part with 10k for something they haven't seen or got a PPI on. Its a stock 540i pre-Vanos and pre facelift with HM2 wheels on it and no motorsport options. Am I missing something ? it looks like a normal price for one of these. Driftit 2078 Report post Posted August 26, 2009 Haha some people get so carried away in the last min bidding wars. It went from a good price. To prob what it was worth. Yet both those bidders have prob not seen the car. 10K blind buy. Not smart.
jjs 64 Report post Posted August 26, 2009 Haha some people get so carried away in the last min bidding wars. It went from a good price. To prob what it was worth. Yet both those bidders have prob not seen the car. 10K blind buy. Not smart. It seems like quite a good buy for $10k. Surely those wheels are worth over $1k? If you haven't seen the car, you really do always have an out if you can argue the car is not as described.
1rotty 40 Report post Posted August 26, 2009 I buy blind all the time-but i always talk to the sellers at length & do as much history checking as possible-previous owners etc Plus I never pay going rates. I had no interest in this one but the seller seemed very evasive to me. And most important I dont pay until I pick the car up.It hasnt happened yet but I would walk if the car wasnt up to par.
