BM WORLD 1286 Report post Posted September 30, 2009 just it back from the piant shop yesterday , spent a few hours putting the all the trims and mouldings back on , fitting the bonnet linner and washers etc ,. retro fitted under bonnet light etc. still got to get the motorsport side skirts fitted . gave it a quick clean up and got some new pics . will be getting the 5spd conversion kit in soon , also some headers and a ecu remap etc . vader M3 seats , stereo system , and my Mk motorsport 17" wheels and maybe suspension upgrades later . have some koni adjustable shocks or bilsteins to go in this is a link from the first thread http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....=23353&st=0 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

BM WORLD 1286 Report post Posted September 30, 2009 (edited) thanks guys for the comments . looking good brent , gaps need a tune but very nice either wayyea i know , the guys a pretty good painter but he is a pretty busy one arm paper hanger and i dont think he had much time to do the fiddly stuff , and he knows i will .Are you planning on removing the rear number plate holder bracket thingy?yes just put the plate there so i could drive it on teh road , will sort later , have to drill holes in the plate to match the holes in the boot lid This car will be strong with manual/Headers/ Re-mapp! BM WORLD 1286 Report post Posted October 20, 2009 (edited) just a little update , got the 328i in getting it converted to a manual at the moment . found a 6.5kg m20 flywheel (off some weird model like a lhd usa 525e or something) which i am going to use with a new modified clutch to fit .with a m20 starter motor. also while its up on the hoist and with the auto box out , we are fitting some of whaney's long headers into it . swapping the 3.45 diff out for a 3.15 etc . full oil service etc looking forward to driving it . then later will be swapping the m3 vader seats into it and some stereo gear etc . some koni or bilstein shocks and my 17" mk alloys . BM WORLD 1286 Report post Posted November 19, 2009 just an update . car is now a manual , has had the headers fitted . swapped the wheels over from my old 325i which is now gone. swapped the electric M3 vader seats and door cards over as well. swapped steering wheel over for smaller a airbag sports model. fitted my stereo , have used the original boot mounted bmw amp running the factory front speakers with my jvc 6by9" speakers in the rear . biwired rear speakers , and tri wired front speakers. jvc bluetooth headdeck with a 160gb harddrive hooked into it . swapped the rear parcel shelf out for a one with built in rear stop light and redyed it at the same time. removed the rear pull up blind (plan on getting the windows tinted soon) still got to do some suspension work (new shocks etc ) Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
