Shady 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2009 A jobs a job in todays world. Cant be picky. If they willing to hire you, go for it. Just keep handing CVs out and if the job you get is crap and a month or so later someone else wants to hire you & its better pay/etc, tell the crap job to stick it and go to the better job. Better than doing nothing for a couple of weeks... I worked at Caltex, graveyard shift for 2years. I suggest - DO NOT do that. The gayest social life you'll ever have. No life. Once I quit & got my current job, I started having Social life again. So if you try a Servo, make sure its Dayshift you get.

Guest FrantiC Report post Posted October 14, 2009 Driving for dominos is good fun, and easy... plus you get to keep tips Dunno what theyre like in Hams, but down here they tend to tip well Actually yeah I second that. I drove for pizza hut and it's quite a damn cruisy job. Pay is all good, tips can be sweet (especially when the people buying pizza are drunk )

huff3r 347 Report post Posted October 14, 2009 Yer but dont you have to pay petrol? At dominos they pay a full wage the whole time you work, and then add on a petrol re-imbursement for each delivery you take.. so not really
Guest FrantiC Report post Posted October 14, 2009 Yer but dont you have to pay petrol? I made about 4x what I'd burn in gas with my m20b20 powered e30 last year when I drove.. it's all good, just conserve gas hardout and yeah there isn't much ground to cover in hastings though so most deliveries wouldn't cost much in gas.
