Apex 693 Report post Posted November 4, 2009 Honda left last year. I dont understand why they are all going, the racing was great this year! Sore loosers, pissed off a last min team with a small budget beats them, great time to bail though!

2002 1 Report post Posted November 4, 2009 It would be nice to see them go back to rallying, it would cost them less and they could probably even win some events. Perhaps they could use that new light weight rear wheel drive car that they're developing with Subaru
Guest Ari Gold Report post Posted November 5, 2009 They're all bailing because Brawn won but have no other automotive influence - ie: where is the trade off to brawn winning the championship? They don't make road cars... So for all the other team that do, what was the point in running midfield?
Apex 693 Report post Posted November 5, 2009 Well they run a Mercedes Engine, that may sell as few cars, Renault supplied the runners up Red-Bull. It’s no different than all the other years that they have lost, losing to a McLaren, Ferrari or a Renault doesn’t make them look any better, F1 has always been made up of mostly F1 specialist cars with Automotive manufacturer supplied engines. Both BMW & Toyota have a lot of money and have poured a fair whack into the development of their cars, unfortunately money cant by what the winning teams have and never will be able to, teams have their ups and downs, look at Renault, world champs 2005-2006 to nothing.
