APT 194 Report post Posted November 8, 2009 Okay so im up to the point on getting my bodykits painted and am sort of toying with the idea of instead of getting my kits painted the same colour as the car but in satin black, sort of like the picture below (ae86 styles). My car will be on either some 16's or 15's with stretched tyres to give it that look' just want to know your guys opinions. Just want something abit different. my car is royalmetallicblue BTW its Zender Front Kit with Tech 1 sides. Will get pics up tomorrow for you guys

Forrest 35 Report post Posted November 8, 2009 ^ Sounds like a good choice. Keep it looking tidy, the more other people butcher e30's..the more the tidy ones will be worth one day
DRTDVL 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2009 get some satin black vinal and try it with that before you paint it... or just use the black vynal that way you can remove it without massive costs...

martyyn 2 Report post Posted November 9, 2009 I think it would look fantastic with all the body kit colour coded. It just looks unfinished if you leave it looking like it is.
APT 194 Report post Posted November 9, 2009 Bumpers colour coded but leave the middle strip black ?
Forrest 35 Report post Posted November 9, 2009 ^ Yeap and black your wheels/buy Jono's black weave reps
e30ftw 410 Report post Posted November 9, 2009 Bumpers colour coded but leave the middle strip black ? Yeah thats the one. The black trim on the bumper will separate it all and go along with the black trim around the car.
martyyn 2 Report post Posted November 9, 2009 Im in two minds about doing the top and bottom of the bumpers, but Im leaning towards yes, do the bumpers with the middle bit staying black. You need something to break up the colour and you have the dark tints to help it already. Looking good Andrew.

APT 194 Report post Posted November 9, 2009 Yeh thanks guys all this looking my car makes me realise i need clear front indicators, and need to cut out the foglights in the kit. Yellow foglights ?
antony 0 Report post Posted November 9, 2009 Panda's are White with Black, so in order to go for the "Panda look" I think you need a white car with a black kit. Would be interesting on a white E30. Please, please, please dont get black wheels. To much blue and black will make your car look like an Accountant. Could be swung either way on the fogs. IMO Antony
