Internets outages anyone?

Been having trouble all morning viewing anything other than TradeMe, Bimmersport pages, i.e anything American I can't view, Google is out, Facebook e.t.c....

Anyone having this issue?

Nah, still crook. Not a computer issue, have tried all three of them here & I can't ping the Microsoft server.

Windows live messenger doesnt work either. It seems anything .com is down (hosted in America). My own site isn't even working. Also I can't even see sigs or avatars for most people cause imageshack (or other similar ones) are down.

Yer, someone unplugged the big ethernet cable from here to the U.S This site, trademe e.t.c must be hosted in NZ.

I had the same issues down in Queenstown over the weekend. Good signal strength, but crap response loading images & pages.. I kept double posting as well... so I gave up in the end. I paid $45 for the service as well

Had DNS go down for about an hour last night... quite annoying...

International throughput still seeming to be a problem for some. It's no fault of any ISP as it falls within and after global gateway. If you're with Telecom, call the helpdesk and were compiling cases together to re-investigate.

Can't say for other ISP's though, but def call it in. The more examples the easier to track the issue
