mark247 39 Report post Posted January 13, 2010 Ugliest shape golf in my opinion. Has to be older or newer, just not that one!
GLIDN 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2010 Ugliest shape golf in my opinion. Has to be older or newer, just not that one! Those are pretty damn reliable cars, Only three problems they ever have on those. Are coil. ECU wiring harness plug in the engine bay. and Window regulators if it has electrics. But that has been done nicely. I would however add a VR6 front valance instead.

GLIDN 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2010 lol, each to your own, I have owned everything from First Gen vw golf/jetta thru to a mk5 golf. mk3 by far is the nicest all rounder. Mk2 the most fun to play with on road. mk1 best to play with on road but more so on track. Mk4 great car, does nothing special really, but funnily enough it does what it does extremely well. Mk5 still newish, just a get in and drive kind of car, GTI is the only one really worth playing. Even the R32 is boring. Mk4 R32 far better car than new mk5 R32. By miles. Guest Ari Gold Report post Posted January 13, 2010 (edited) Those are pretty damn reliable cars Hahaha are you serious? You've owned every shape golf and claim that the Mk3 is right up there on the reliability stakes? Edit: If you buy this Broke, will you be making 63 threads about it on http://www.eurosport.org.nz/forum/ ? Edited January 13, 2010 by Ari Gold

elmarco 56 Report post Posted January 16, 2010 I love the shape of these - and owned 2 before I got the 330. I had both a diesel and VR6 and both were pretty reliable and handled well. Biggest problem was the window regulators. The MK2 I had however was a different story.... Seems pricey for a 93 done over 200kms though.
Top Secret 2 Report post Posted January 16, 2010 I'm gonna go against the grain and say I like it, however, it'd be better if it was lower/wider steels/bonnet rusted better.
