E30 325i Rag-Top 2958 Report post Posted March 18, 2010 Haha cheers mrad - I know a Holden getting lapped when I see one! Erm, might want to check out the results page rather than just the images. The Holden, sorry Chev Lumina, of mr Armetta (as shown in first pic) won the first race and was second (behind a Merc) in the second race. Not bad for "pre-historic" technology which will get shown up by all the new fangled gizmos, eh?

mac4 0 Report post Posted March 20, 2010 It nearly died when they had other marques ,the falcodore series at least kept it going . It already costs several mill to run a V8 season& a lot cant afford it now , so how the hell would they afford mercabeems without direct factory teams ,( currently not allowed ). The 2 litre series was open to all marques but it failed to get much interest & was dropped . Even the Euro teams struggling to make it in their own back yard without another series to compete in . Might see Toyota in but that would be it . Even our home V8 boys finding it tough to get $$ to compete ,look at the smaller feild this year .
