Have a search Oli, there are heaps of threads on here, including one I made, and plenty on overseas forums.

IIRC you need tha spacer for the oil seal on the front of the crank and the skirts on the pistons need to be trimmed down abit then be balanced

I discussed this possibility with Glenn a while back-can turn in to an expensive exercise to do properly

I gave Ray a call and it does look to be expensive especially if you cant build your own engine <_<

DCH Motorsport in Chch do a drive-in drive-out 2.8 conversion for $7000. That includes the fully reconned 2.8 M20 and ECU upgrade/tune.

So yep, it's expensive unless you're awesome at rebuilding engines.

Cost my son about 1100-1200 to convert his M20B25 into a 2.8 stroker. All I donated was the crank and M20B20 rods.

That included shortblock assembly by paramount engineering.

Do your math around that and you come in comfortably under $2000.

Pistons did not need to be altered.

At $7000 the chch. place is making a shitload.

It is a cheap and simple conversion.

It is best to start with a 2.5 block.

Then all you need is

2.8 crank with spacer and shortened (very easy)

B25 pistons

B20 Rods

stock rings, bearings and anything else you want to do.

1.3 Motronic ECU and loom

Reflash ECU by Gavin at Hi Velocity.

So if you are starting with a 325. You don't need much. Once the crank is adjusted you just rebuild the motor as normal.
