CamB 48 Report post Posted April 6, 2010 and noticeably more rapid than an e36 Evo. I wonder why - they appear to be similar weight (maybe 5% less for the M Coupe). If anything the Evo has superior gearing. I'm not doubting by the way - have been in an M-Coupe race car (basically a standard one with a cage) and it was FAST. While I remember, the slight "shunting" in my car on and off the throttle which I told you about was knackered rear trailing arm bushes, so E36 owners (no, not you Z3 / M-Coupe / compact owners), check your bushes. Driftit 2093 Report post Posted April 6, 2010 Is it something to do with the balance of the car. Maybe the seating possition. Everything in the car seems to be very well placed. Even the battery is set very low in the center of the boot.
OLLIE 26 Report post Posted April 6, 2010 Awesome! I'm coming to visit .... my hatred of the look of the z3 coupe may be cured
hybrid 1044 Report post Posted April 6, 2010 Awesome! I'm coming to visit .... my hatred of the look of the z3 coupe may be cured Might take you for a run tonight in it I have to 'test' the viscocity of the redline gearbox fluid hes put in it for the mix for my ZF5speed. As dylan says, its a totally different experience to driving your normal BMW. Ray was saying that its a roadster, so your seating position is nearly sitting over the rear axels, it makes for a unique experience. you just fall in love with them once you drive them weather you like them or not. They actually get you hooked on them.

Golfboy666GTI 68 Report post Posted April 7, 2010 Legit k`s. Pretty much not driven since 2003 when it came to NZ. The last photo is the setup(KW coilovers) I played with before the setup(H&R`s and Butt Strut] that I have now. Best way to explain a Strut Butt is this link:Stong Strut, Butt Strut Was it never registered when it first came into NZ?
HELLBM 1560 Report post Posted April 7, 2010 Was it never registered when it first came into NZ?Entry was logged but was not registered until I sorted out the legal stew surrounding it.
