deeveus 81 Report post Posted May 11, 2010 (edited) Post cars you've owned - must have pictures! Ok, so I've owned probably more than 100 cars, I actually made a list and it's somewhere at work but the thing is I don't have pictures of them all, so I'll post the ones I've owned that I do have pictures of. Will post the rest tomorrow when I have some time at work! Edited May 11, 2010 by Clinton
crazyarab 6 Report post Posted May 11, 2010 (edited) From Clinton's post, I can't see how you guys have interpreted it as a "brag" or "wank" thread.. How the f**k can you consider a legacy, or falcon wagon bragging is beyond me. Seems to me like this is a thread about looking back at what has been and gone and the crazy phases / times we have passed through. So I'll participate! (minus the pictures else people might get on my back) 1. Honda City yes... it was the sh*t and lived on petrol fumes, I was 15 and it was a million times better than riding a bike to school! 2. Legacy wagon GT Compared to my Honda, this thing felt like a rocket when I first drove it. Was my first and LAST subaru, cost me 4 times it's worth over the years I had it and was very much a love hate relationship. So fast yet every time you gunned it something broke. 3. Mitsubishi Mirage wagon (in a random pink color lol) I was so f**king broke at uni and just wanted something to get me by. Bought it for 500 then a year later someone hit me head on and his insurance payed out 2k! Bonusss 4. E36 325i (in dolphin grey) My first BMW and the catalyst to this stupid obsession I now have with BMW's.. Was such a mint car and still see it often as I sold it to one of my best mates. 5. E36 M3 The most amazing car and probably the most well rounded car I have owned to date. Obsessed over getting this for years and achieving the goal was super sweet. 6. 1990 Honda Accord (5 speed manual 2L) Managed to sell the M3 for good coin and opted to invest rather than spending all my cash on cars so had to downgrade. The Accord was perfect, would buy one again in a heartbeat. The PERFECT daily, electric everything, cruise control and just a sweet ride for sh*t all money. 7. E30 M325 Tech-II Missed owning a bimmer so once I had saved up enough it was time to see what this E30 craze was all about. The hunt led me to this which sparked the newly new found obsession of E30's! 8. E30 340i Although the Tech-II was loads of fun to drive, it just was not enough power and I began itching for a beast again... the V8 was a no brainer, ticking alllll the boxes. So it's back to throwing all my savings at the metal parked in the garage Edited May 11, 2010 by crazyarab

Guest Simon* Report post Posted May 11, 2010 I don't mind your thread Clint - like you say some of those cars are hardly bragworthy. I probably can't manage pics for many of mine, plus the shame factor of some that I've owned is terrible! You've certainly been through a wide variety of cars, but no Mitsis by the looks? I hate Mitsubishis!! Was the Toe-rag a diesel?

ROFL @ Apex - I'm not a fag, I'm married and have a kid to prove it haha! Edited May 11, 2010 by Clinton

Touareg was unfortunately the V6 petrol model, plenty of fuel consumption, but lacked power LOL Would have loved or love to own a V10 Twin Turbo one. deeveus 81 Report post Posted May 11, 2010 People that drive French cars are so insecure. Look at them putting us down to make themselves feel better Amazing isn't it Graham, that BMW's are so popular here on this BMW forum! Who would have thought??? I think I've only owned 5 or so BMW's. I can honestly say that the Audi I had by far had the best feel of build quality, never owned a French car, I don't think LOL.
Guest Simon* Report post Posted May 11, 2010 These are the ones I've owned for any worthwhile amount of time. 325i, 325i. 325i, 325i. In that order I remember you having the first PFL one now! You must have had a different username (didn't everyone!) Weren't too many around with the stripes. Didn't you paint the lettering white on your tyres or something at some stage? Didn't you paint the lettering white on your tyres or something at some stage? I always had this username, I think I'm probably one of the few that have never changed their's. I painted the writing on the wheels for a laugh, and it ended up looking pretty cool in my opinion. Yeah, the stripes were a rarity, but unfortunately I had to get a door repainted and ended up loosing the stripes all together.
deeveus 81 Report post Posted May 11, 2010 Instead of type them all out, I've decided to just scan it LOL, there are 2 missing pages from that too I'm sure of it.

Clint can clearly afford to change cars often and so why not? Hell I like a huge range of cars, It's allgood. Mark 178 Report post Posted May 11, 2010 1983 Mazda 323 - owned by an old man who couldn't drive it any longer. Has survived an absolute thrashing from both me and my two younger brothers. 1988 Mitsubishi Galant. Was an import with the 4G63 engine in it. Not sure why everyone is bashing the mitsis in this thread, that car was very quick, comfortable and nothing ever went wrong with it. Still owned by one of my brothers. 1994 BMW 325i - was a beautiful car to drive, I would have kept it if I had had the money to do a manual conversion. 1987 BMW 325i - My current love. Needs some TLC, but I am a perfectionist.
