2 Piece brake rotors

Recommended Posts

Later e36 M3 used a two piece rotor.

All you'll ever need for a 328.

Can you not just buy another set of rotors the same as in the picture or are they completely different ?

Can get new 1 piece rotors out of the states but they only come in cross drilled and are known for warping

There are also 2 piece available 332usd for each hat, 312.95usd for each vented rotor and 81.95usd for each of the hardware

I know i really shouldn't be trying to go cheap on bigger brakes

I haven't been able to find a substitute from another vehicle

Dimensions i need are 320mm diameter, 28mm thick and 60mm height

If all else fails they will be for sale

If it's just a standard road car ie: E36 328I... just buy some brembo slotted rotors and use genuine pads. Thats what I'm using and theyre great. Would save alot of coin

My amateur opinion based on data-mining the excellent spreadsheet at http://www.ebcbrakes.com/catalogues.shtml is that you're not going to find anything from another car in this wide world!

Can you get new brackets made to suit a more common rotor option?

To answer your question.

http://yellow.co.nz/companies/Automotive-P...176558_317.html

E36’s bloody common so there is a good chance he might have something off the shelf. If not account for $1,500+GST initial top hat set up cost, once done you can have disks supplied easy enough when the expire.

I had the same problem sourcing disks for my Brembo’s, seems Renault wanted to be different.

Woth a try.

I've done a track day with mine and quite a bit of aggressive driving and have never had a problem...no fade and theyre always responsive. Brembo's for mine which are the same as yours cost me $160 each and genuine pads are $130

What pads do they use? And are you sure they take the specified rotor?

which specified rotor do you mean?

I have the code of the brake pads somewhere but can't find it

The calipers etc are from the brembo gt brake kit
