Photoshop request

Recommended Posts

Can I have someone photoshop some different color centers on these for me?

I would like:

Metallic gold, Gun metal grey and a colorcoded version (if possible).

Any other suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks in advance, your blowie is in the mail.

Heres a gold version. A bit rough. Had a go with the gunmetal and colourcoded but didn't really come out noticably darker? Maybe just something I did. But someone else can have a go at those.

Before I started this thread my heart was set on gold, if I do it I will redo the gold side pinstripes too I think.

Thanks Nick :)

Don't go gold... I know someone with a black 4 door E30 that is going gold very soon. You wouldn't want to be a copycat would you? ;)

Okay so no gold, I don't want to be the same as everyone else

Cheers for the pshop James, that gun metal looks outrageously good. Def keen.

Is anyone balls enough to DIY paint their centers or take em to a shop? I am still tossing up what would be better.

Have heard powdercoating is bad though because it will leave the face that bolts to the barrel uneven and won't seal as well. So atm I am thinking of giving DIY a jam, have done it before and they came out mint.

Think nogaro wins atm. Anyone got a colorcode?

If you take them apart they are real easy to do yourself nathan. Just prep them and use 2k and you will have no problems.

I personally think the gold looks great with the colour of your car. Who care's what everyone else is using.

2 wheels gold, 2 wheels gun metal. but seriously, i will probably flip a coin haha.

Gold flows a lot better with the car though. Cheers Ashkan for that, the DIY's i have seen look reasonably easy.

Anyone had any quotes for getting the centers painted? I will prep them myself atleast but I know I will regret saying that.

I don't want to spray can them myself and find they crack. Especially around the wheel bolt holes <_<

Gold, C/W Redone pinstriping will look bloody good. Dark centres will look out of place IMO

Thoughts on this color for the centers?

As usual I am still undecided, have a couple of weeks till I am pulling them apart.

I am also putting smaller tyres on too now FYI, have some worrying inner arch/chassis rail rubbing issues.

^ Yeah gold is still winning atm. Seems to contrast great with the $20 note green of my paint.
