I'm glad you are going with gold. With the Alpina design you have on the front in the gold stripe it will look fantastic.

Going with any other colour is going to add yet another colour to the mix where, as you said, the green and the gold really look great.

Everything you do usurps the plans I originally had (when i used to have time!) for my car..... snowplough, gold bbs rims, stripes.....

maybe I should do jps.... I did after all just find 2 unworn 1983 JPS jackets in my mates closet haha

^ Haha yeah, well to think If I hadn't picked up the Alpina front bumper I would be still rocking around on Borbet reps and a volvo front lip

@ Mark, I totally get what you mean, I might get the wheels sorted first before I decide wether I need the stripes or not, sometimes less is more.

Hey Mark, stop reading and start spilling what/where color code your using

I'm just gonna try and get something matched up from the photos I've gathered off the net. Haven't found a colour code anywhere.

Or have I?

^ Dammit.

Don't need to dig any colorcodes up if I leave them silver

Thoughts on this color for the centers?

As usual I am still undecided, have a couple of weeks till I am pulling them apart.

I am also putting smaller tyres on too now FYI, have some worrying inner arch/chassis rail rubbing issues.

That is my car. I thank you for letting others see it.

Here is what I did to my wheels....

Anyone know if that's a fill and drill on the 16"baskets? Or is it a 5 stud? Spacers?

16' Baskets have to be one of the hottest wheels for a 5 stud E30.

Exhibit A:

Won't attach the pics as there are tons of ultra sick ones in there, you can thank me later ;)

Also OT, but just for shits and gigs (it is my thread after all)

Anyone remember when I was going to build a red panda e30? LOL

I cant believe you guys are digging my car.

Lips are painted a OEM ish silver. Its Dupi-Color Silver wheel paint.

Centers: dupli-Color Graphite wheel paint

1 hour tape job on each wheel. 2 hours of sanding on each wheel.

My wheels are e38 style 5's et23.

Filled a redrilled to 4 x 100

8mm spacers front. 20mm spacers rear. making the rear et3 and front et 15

Ill answer any questions you have in addition to info i already posted.

ps front spaces are required to clear calipers.

That's seriously awesome. Was 8mm the minimum spacing to clear the front? Or could one go smaller?

Also any chance you can post a pic of the fill and drill job? I always thought the bore size was too big to do 4x100 without overlap.

To get this back on topic, I have decided on a color, and it's not gold.

Least it will keep _Mark_ happy ;)
