mrad01 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2010 I guess everyone knows, but sunday is the great race at Bathurst. No BMWs, but watching whales racing around an awesome track is always entertaining!! Murphys lap record has just been broken too.

|ncary 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2010 Murphs lap was a 2.06.8 if I recall correctly, these times today are almost a second off that..
Mark 178 Report post Posted October 9, 2010 Lowndes put in a quicker time than Murph's today in practice. Was only 200'ths of a second faster I believe. I'm going to a keg party tomorrow, if it rains there may be some Bathurst drinking games.
mrad01 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2010 Murphs lap was a 2.06.8 if I recall correctly, these times today are almost a second off that.. Murphy 2:06.8594 Loundes (yesterday) 2:06.8012 Bloody close. I wonder if they will ever beat the 1000km overall time of 6hrs 19m set by a R32 Datsun? Best so far by the V8 Superwhales is 6hrs 29m... |ncary 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2010 Isn't it strange that the qualifying times are not the fastest times, and even more so that they are 0.8 seconds from the fastest practice time. Should be smashing the record in qualifying and taking pole.. Crank the timing and fuel maps right up past the legal power output, put in 10 litres of fuel and send em out for a practice lap to break the lap record! Greg111 13 Report post Posted October 10, 2010 As you proberly have heard by now but the lap record is still in Murphs hands as that was practice so doesn't count.
