deeveus 81 Report post Posted February 14, 2011 Looks really nice good choice. The plate however...... I've had the plate for 11 years or so now, was a leaving present from when I was a butcher and the name has stuck, I guess every personalised plate has a hidden message lol. Has stuck with me. Braeden320 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2011 (edited) QUOTE (CamB @ Jan 25 2011, 07:55 AM) I don't understand this - you are buying it today for the market price (you are the market - not the dude's asking price). Unless you expect the value of all MLs to be static for 6 months, you should expect the price to go down. Because I'm paying 40k for it, the cheapest one in the south island is 65k and it's done 120km! That's a big difference no one could ignore. Clinton you never, ever cease to surprise me with how often you change cars, however If you can make a 10/15/20k profit on this ML bloody good job. and well done. Were you a used car salesman in a past life by chance? Edited February 28, 2011 by braeden.

Braeden320 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2011 I don't think there's any hate whatsoever, and if there is it certainly isn't from me. Surely just an ongoing joke about how long he keeps his cars, a bit of freindly banter. Don't be so precious

deeveus 81 Report post Posted February 28, 2011 Girls and ladies please don't be surprised. To my credit I kept the X5 14 months, this Merk isn't me, it's too flashy, too ponsy, I've spent several thousand getting it to tip top shape with the vision of keeping it 6-12 months - it needed a fair bit of maintenance done, whereas I've only owned it a few weeks and deciding to move it. It's nothing compared to the X5's - X5's just suited me better - these are more like a landcruiser. :)

deeveus 81 Report post Posted March 6, 2011 speaking of landcruisers why dont you go and try the new 4.5 diesel v8 onePretty sure they wouldn't fit in my garage, too big for what I need it for and IMO they aren't the best looking machine in the world. They apparently go very well though.
