kevinator9 57 Report post Posted March 22, 2011 (edited) Hi All, Hoping to get some decent pictures of the car in the next few days. In the meantime here is the only pic I have of it at the moment plus some details. Vehicle Information Type Code: AK94 Type: 318I (EUR) Dev. Series: E30 Line: 3 Body Type: LIM Steering: RL Door Count: 2 Engine: M10 Cubical Capacity: 1.80 Power: 0 Transmission: HECK Gearbox: AUT Colour: ALPINWEISS (146) Upholstery: PACIFIC (0151) Prod. Date: 1985-06-03 Order Options No. Description 215 Power Steering, Depending on Engine Speed 219 Sport Leather Steering Wheel 225 Sportliche Fahrwerksabstimmung 286 BMW LM RAD/BMW Styling 300 Zentral Werriegelung Elektrisch 320 Model Designation, Deletion 324 LT/ALY Wheels Ellopsoid SP.107/Mixed TYR 351 Waermeschutzglas Braun, Rundum 361 Ausstellfenster, Hinten 400 Sliding Sunroof Manual 410 Windows Lifts, Electric at Front 481 Sport Seats F Driver/Front Passenger 520 Foglights 530 Air Conditioning 690 Cassette Holder Ken at Bellars very nicely got an option list from Jerry Clayton, very interesting to see what the car came out with. Still trying to figure out what some of the option codes are exactly but I was told the 215 option was fairly rare to find which is cool to know I also assumed the model badges (318I) on the back were not there because the car had a different boot lid, either from a crash or other reason but it looks like the original owner asked for it to never be put on Edited March 22, 2011 by kevinator9

kevinator9 57 Report post Posted March 23, 2011 Got plans for it? Looks good though. It has already been lowered so that is taken car of I have added mudflaps since this photo too. I would like to get 15" BBS alloys but would settle for 14" because of the price. Modest tints would be nice, I am considering clear indicators and a chrome exhaust tip would be nice. Knowing my budget though it might be a while before any of that happens Nice car! Did those stripes come with the car? Oh yea are you Aaron's brother by the way? I don't believe they came with the car, the option list doesn't list them so I assume they didn't. In saying that I know they are an original BMW part and they have definately been on the car for a while (wear etc). They look nice though, I will be keeping them Yea, do you work with him? Looks nice and tidy. Welcome to the painful and joyous world of E30 ownership. Ha, no kidding! Right hand stick (windscreen wipers etc) stopped working yesterday and the drivers side window stopped a while ago so I have booked it in at Bellars to sort it out.
