_Matt_ 42 Report post Posted May 10, 2011 a 4.4 Litre V8 is more economical than my car? Now that's depressing. Beautiful vehicle. The position of the rear badges annoy me
Apex 693 Report post Posted May 10, 2011 If its 09 and a 750 it wont be 4.4. Very nice car. If I was a leader of an Asian Mafia gang and had gun I would drive that.
AN E30 Fan 1 Report post Posted May 10, 2011 (edited) My dad said he saw a new one outside his hotel in LA. Although he doesn't like the normal 7, we said he loved the Alpina. Sweet looking car though. Edit: I think all the B7 from the E65 to F01/F02 were 4.4L V8s Graham. Edited May 10, 2011 by AJ_D

deeveus 81 Report post Posted May 10, 2011 Dare I say it, a bit of a bargain too? What are they new if at all available in NZ?
bellicose 9 Report post Posted May 10, 2011 (edited) The position of the rear badges annoy me That's because they're in the wrong place lol. The word Alpina should always be on the drivers side no matter weather LHD or RHD, but i guess they're not too worried 'bout the small RHD market. Apex 693 Report post Posted May 10, 2011 (edited) LOVE it, supercharged 4.4, 500BHP. Would it still be a 750i or simply a Alpina B7. Im not sure how the Alpina thing works but calling it a 750i is confusing when a 750i is a 4.8.. thats confusing in itself. Agree that is a sharp price, a lot of car for the money Edited May 10, 2011 by Apex

Agree that is a sharp price, a lot of car for the money They change their numbering system all the time, the X5 50i is a 4.4 twin turbo so a 4.4 supercharged can also be a 50....750i. The 4.8 is no longer so i guess that's why they changed. As for the Alpina thing, am unsure whether you call them both or it's either a 750 or a B7, it started life as a 750 then got shipped off to the Alpina factory so it still is a 750 underneath
