bolt missing on manifold

got my car back from panel shop and they noticed exhaust leak ,because one of the bolts on the manifold at the head is missing , i hope its just missing.

car sounds look crap at the moment

where to source these bolts?

You can use bolts instead of studs which is OEM.

M8x1.25

30mm

Give EDL a call they should be able to help you out.

You might also find that it has a broken stud in the head (a common E30 problem) which will require removing the exhaust manifold to repair.

if its stuck head will need to be removed ? correct me if im wrong

i will get it checked out and go from there.

no worries Max guess these things happen

changed flanged gasket about 3 months ago was a leak there , put exhaust tip on also

cant wait to get this sorted , i havent driven it in a while! hope its just a case of changing bolts :rolleyes:

They can be removed with the head in place. You need to drill down the center of the stud then use an EZ out to remove it. It is easy to f**k up and if you snap the EZ out then the head defiantly will need to be removed. It would be best to take it to someone who has done it before, at least if they f**k it up it's their problem :D
