nath 134 Report post Posted June 20, 2011 It can't be dyed, It's synthetic. But some people use that rubbish 'spray on' dye from Repco which is really a form of paint.

nath 134 Report post Posted June 20, 2011 Dunno, it's been a long time since I cared what my floor carpet feels like. I care about all parts of my car... hell, I dont sink this much into an old car for nothing. Back on topic, some cars have loop pile and some cut pile. It may have a better, less matted effect on one rather than the other perhaps? If you do spray it; it would pay to spray, let dry, then agitate it lightly with a stiff brush to seperate fibres and remove the dust produced by spraying.
