E30 carpet dyeing

Has anyone dyed their carpet black? If so I would like to know how to do it. What materials to use ect ect.

It can't be dyed, It's synthetic.

But some people use that rubbish 'spray on' dye from Repco which is really a form of paint.

Works well on parcel tray but I know what Nathan means for the rest of the car.

I care about all parts of my car... hell, I dont sink this much into an old car for nothing.

Back on topic, some cars have loop pile and some cut pile. It may have a better, less matted effect on one rather than the other perhaps?

If you do spray it; it would pay to spray, let dry, then agitate it lightly with a stiff brush to seperate fibres and remove the dust produced by spraying.
