deeveus 81 Report post Posted October 2, 2011 Are these f**kers that organised now they are using tow-trucks to steal cars? Surely someone would have heard the truck and the winch pulling the car up?
M5V8 337 Report post Posted October 2, 2011 you'd be surprised how little people pay attention to these things. When my car went missing even the police said i should ring the local tow companies to check if they had any jobs in the area. Apparently they have stolen cars by calling unwitting (or uncaring) tow companies.
RichieRichNZ 0 Report post Posted October 4, 2011 Yeah it was insured. Having trouble getting them to pay what its worth tho. Pretty guttered after doing so much work to it. It was missing so many parts. I'd only just replaced everything so that it was all mint condition to get ready for sale. Took a day off work the week before to fix a water leaking problem. So now its got a brand new water pump and thermostat housing. The chromes are what will stand out the most. I havent seen any others like them. Now I was told (correct me if i'm wrong) the stud pattern for an E36 is the same as an E46 and Commodores? If so, that should narrow my search down...
