What kind of muffler is that?

Selling it?

Same thought was running through my mind.

The rust under teh rear bumper - was that there already or is it a result of sitting outside since the accident?

wont be able to sound clip till i get new car...although if you look up Gus Burnout that gives you an idea

i really like it, its quiet when you want it to be, and loud enough when you dont

the rust was already there.....i knew it was there from poking holes from the boot.....stupid e3o's.

I think i read somewhere that cars like rust.

Damn - I'd hate something eating into me like that.

But then again i'm not a car - as much as i think i am :)

Where are the E30's known for rusting?

Bits I know of or have seen include:

Sunroof

Firewall, also around where the battery sits up front

Around the rear tail lights

Rear shock mounts

Around the front windscreen

Where else is bad for rust?

You're car is so naked Gus.... Love the bottlecaps.

How do you remove that bit where you found all the rust, the random metal bit behind the rear side windows?

Cheers Gus, got them off the parts car.. (1984 baby) Not a spot of rust unlike those dodgy M325's  The chrome trim isn't too hard either!
