URGENT clutch alighnment

hey, could anyone in chch help me out in a big way. i'm after a input shaft from a old getrag 240 or 260 to line my clutch up so i can get this motor in hopfully this weekend.

Do it by eye..its not that hard. Line it up centering the splines relative to the spigot bearing with a screw driver. Just put the pressure plate in place and do the bolts up finger tight so you can align it before tightening up the bolts.

If you know someone in the area with a lathe...get a piece of dowel or broom handle and machine it to suit the spigot bearing center and clutch plate.. use this

You can also get universal fit ones from repco etc.

i use a 10mm drill bit with tape wound around till its a snug fit in the splines. dad made it years ago (before i was born i think) and its never failed
