New member here, heard of this forum through a friend, have been reading up a lot of good stuff here and finding good recommendations, and thought I would introduce myself, I picked up this 1999 e46 323ci end of last year:

Unfortunately have had problems recently with my gearbox, whenever I change down only from 3rd to 2nd gear there is a straining noise in the transmission area, took it in to BM Workshop and they said I may need to replace or repair my gearbox, does anyone know who does gearbox repairs in Auckland?
