Michael. 2313 Report post Posted April 25, 2012 Holy crap! However it looks like it did well considering the situation... Drive safe! Also, "Following the M5 were an M6 and an M3 being driven by the driver’s sons"

Dyl 4 Report post Posted April 26, 2012 Id love to see how the M3 would fair after a crash at that speed. It would probably be dust. As well as me

Greg111 13 Report post Posted April 26, 2012 ^^Haha^^ F10 is the most safest car on the planet at the moment. This is two F10s now that have had very serious accidants and had the occupants walk away from.
deeveus 81 Report post Posted April 26, 2012 Bit of a bugger. Hope they caught the clown that cut them off. That M5 is still probably worth a fair bit I'd imagine.

Michael. 2313 Report post Posted April 26, 2012 That M5 is still probably worth a fair bit I'd imagine. Do you think it would be plausible that BMW would want to get their hands on the car to check it out and see how such a new product of theirs performed under a serious incident in the real world? Twin turbs V8 E30 in the making there! Seriously big smash, like the F10 that crashed at Christmas, the driver had a dog on board. With this in mind I would like to see Dog airbags installed from now on, maybe include a crash test dog dummy in testing.
39KiwiTouring 2 Report post Posted April 26, 2012 They did with the one in NZ. Thats right the one that hit the milk tanker in P North a 535 F10, that guy pulled through in the end.

Either to BMW or someone wanting the running gear out of it, and probably still a fair amount of saleable parts available.
