Crazy Dave 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2012 Discovered for the first time the little orange light on the dashboard of the E39 that shows loss of traction. However the Landrover Discovery gets hauled out of the barn on days like this.

Then the little orange light will stay on and you get better acceleration times an easier to burn a bit of rubber
tmase 19 Report post Posted June 7, 2012 Choose front wheel drive over rear wheel drive tonight. So the Mazda got a run! Just dropped the missus off for nightshift - effin' cold out there! Saw some poor bugger arse off his motorbike on Harper Ave on the way home, looked to be okay, but you'd have to wonder why you'd wanna be riding around on a night like this, think I'd rather walk! antil33t 90 Report post Posted June 7, 2012 hahahahahahahha. It was sunny here in Dunedin yesterday. I had the roof on the Escort down all day. This time last year I got stuck in the Snow. - In Christchurch.

CSET 583 Report post Posted June 7, 2012 Hah yeah, was a bit of fun driving down to Ashburton/Timaru and back - amazing the difference about 30k south of Ashburton - completely cleared up and no snow at all. Transition was pretty fast also. Must admit I fell on my ass a few times wandering around - I'm not made for this weather. Back in Auckland now - plane only delayed 3 hrs last night, really feel for those who had been waiting all day...!
