Andre3000 55 Report post Posted August 30, 2012 This ^ Or have the right suspension related tools. I'm assuming the tools are a pry bar and a press? I'm going to get an alignment done afterwards, there was no point on the shot ones currently installed. Doesn't seem hard, just wondering if anyone has found a good diy way to remove/install the press fit joints into the arms.

Andre3000 55 Report post Posted August 30, 2012 take the arm out , get a good press , use the correct size pipe to push it out. Cheers Brent. I've got a home built bottle jack press, 3 ton should be alright eh? I guess I won't know the correct dia pipe to use till I've got it out. Will just have to use the lux for the weekend, no matter. Michael. 2313 Report post Posted August 30, 2012 Have you considered getting new LCA instead? At least that way your replacing both ball joints at once as well as getting a nice new arm that is fresh and new. Although the cost of an arm is about 5x the cost of one ball joint so it is a bit more economical replacing a ball joint individually.
