17 Shnitzer Wheels...

Recommended Posts

http://www.trademe.co.nz/a.asp?id=53570695...bc=&ct=link

Seller quotes size as 8 1/2 Jx17ft13 does ft13 represent an offset of 13?...

also...e34 540 has an offset of 20... if one now puts wheel with an et of 14, will make the car feel like a bucket of bolts...or could be the tyres doing that, (old 3/4 worn Bridgestone "runflats")?

they will fit fit they are 8.5" wide so 12.5mm wider than a 8" wide rim , so offset change of 7mm is fine.

i have the same size and offset on my e34 544i

They will fit fine and yep, they are et13. Use this to see where in relation to your current wheels they will sit.

thanks mate, that site is good...the wheels in the foto are 18 x 8 et 14 and only just "squeak" inside the guards...so a 17 x 8.5 et13 will probably rub

You shouldnt get any rubbage if you run the right tyres. What are you running now?

thats standard Schnitzer/alpina/hartge etc size, wont rub unless your trying to fit the wrong size tyres on, whether your car is slammed or not

std size is 235/45-17" on that size rim etc

but you can even fit 255/40-17" and still have clearance (front and back)

um...standard set up; Style 16, 16 x7 et 20 with 245 50 16 r and 225 55 16 fr...the fronts have signifacantly more wear than the rears by the way...the car handles and travels nicely on these tho

as in foto.. style 118, 18 x 8 et14..with 245 45 18...off a e60, the car handles ok, but travels like a boat
