tobytoblerone 3 Report post Posted April 28, 2013 (edited) Major damage (unrepairable) to front right guard, front right headlight smashed too! Both replaced, ordered direct from Germany a refurbished panel, painted & ready to go. Perfect colour match. Surprisingly very easy to remove the panel, a few bolts here and there. Then it comes right off, little effort required. Heck, it's more difficult getting the headlights off of these beasts (requires removal of entire front bumper). Anyways, results are awesome. Saved a fair penny, very difficult getting spares for a long wheel base E66 7 series. Yes the parts are a different fit to a regular E65 which makes getting parts very expensive and difficult. Had to wait 2 months for these to arrive! Edited April 28, 2013 by tobytoblerone
tobytoblerone 3 Report post Posted April 28, 2013 Here are the un-salvageable parts.. I guess i'll drop the panel to a metal recycler & the headlight to the land fill.
