LS3 + G-Force 4spd dog box.

Wouldn't touch an SR20.

For a left field option, Toyota 3RZ + Turbo.

Few guys on Toymods have them running 10psi on a stock high Km Motors with 300whp in Hiluxs'.

Built motors are good for +1000hp (look up the NORAD celica)

Honest opinion

Just go see/talk to *Glenn*.

The Guy knows these things back to front and front to back.

Knows sh*t loads about the 318Ti. Go look at his one, its one freaking amazing piece of machinery.

He wont put you wrong. It he dont know what you need to know then fark it you dont need to know it.

335d engine conversion... Remapped to twist the chassis at about 800nm. 800nm vs a car that weighs as much as a carrot.

Now there's a thought

Would probably have more luck finding a S62 tho

Oh yeah that looks gorgeous, I really like the shape. A little spoiler at the back adds a whole new look too. Awesome :)

After reading a lot, and listening to a lot of exhaust sounds on YouTube haha, I think the m52 will be the way to go for me. I also kind of like the idea of keeping the bimmer engine in there. And as much as I love the idea of the SR20det, the 2jz and the LS1, I think the 'ease' of the m52 stands out. I mean it's meant to fit in that engine bay, mating it with the right box won't require a new driveshaft, and it will make the electronic side of things significantly easier (unless I'm being naive.) I know it will still take a lot of work and $$$ but I think it would be plenty worthwhile :)

Here are a few nice ones too.
