Does anybody have hook-up's on this steering wheel?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

May be a long shot, but I'm after an Evo steering wheel in SUEDE, brand new, for E30

I've found them online for around $900-1000 NZD plus shipping and taxes.

Does anybody know a cheaper alternative in finding a brand new one over here? Would BMW sell them? I dont imagine they would. I will give them a try.

I really dont want to pay $200 tax if I order one <_<

Thank you kindly.

Probably way more expensive through BMW.

VAC has it way cheaper.

Yeah i got the photo from Vac. Converted to NZD it is $1090 shipped + tax.

And I phoned BMW, $1,600 IF they can source. LOL

Just make sure you look after it. The oil and sweat from your hands will ruin it otherwise.

I know right! Its pretty much a sit-in-the-garage car and gets driven about once a week.

Thanks Brent, i've phoned a couple of interior specialists and it costs around $600 to re-do. Crazy.

And you don't want to wear racing gloves and end up looking like this guy.

The had one of those race suits in Team McMillan the other day when I was in there, thought it looked great, but probably at bit too OTT for me to pull off - and that would be at a race meet, let alone in a dealership - with brown shoes on!!

Back OT, those steering wheels often come up on s14.net for sale as they are a Sport Evo part I think, not cheap but in good condition and cheaper than brand new.
