Gus 5 Report post Posted September 28, 2005 pre facelift or facelift? there a pre FL 318 with mtech 1 kit (thought it was a motorsport for ages, finally had a look) that parks near mt eden rd. there was a facelift white coupe with kit near it too. im often round uni/queen st, but im 4 door and 88 325. saw a mint silver pre FL with decent 17's rockin round khyber pass the other day....it looked really nice. also there a FL black motorsport near mt eden that parks during the day..cant remember the plate, but may be the one you saw... bronzit? wasnt a motorsport colour as far as i know so could be a fake Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I was in town yesterday and saw a young guy in a black coupe, gave me a nod, then 2 mins later a guy (who is prob on here - had a BMWCC sticker), in a grey facelift m325i with exhaust gave me a wave . Lucky i was holding it down for the old school, reppin for the mtech I massive, (or is that minute ?) PS i dont reckon its that kosha posting dudes plates/names. Are you trying to suggest that thieves etc troll through sites like this to get rego numbers/trace cars, but pay no attention to the cars they're targeting when they're driving/walking around? I fail to see a difference as well.Mind you, I am mostly careful about posting plate details up here, because some people are a tad sensitive about it. *sic 1 Report post Posted September 29, 2005 the reasons people dont like to put a plate up is that most details about the car are given at some point online, ie what modifications / specific parts in the car, sometimes people will talk about the cars security systems in "recommended alarm" threads... then they get there shopping list sorted, get the addy from the plate, they already know the alarm system is a XXXX9200 v2 and say goodbye to your ride.. think about it. dont post other people plates without asking.
